Spiritual Formation Kick-Off -

September is here! Our Sunday morning Formation Kick-Off is this coming Sunday, September 11 at 9:00 am.

Giving this our best efforts will require volunteers, time, energy, and patience. Please prayerfully consider your call to support children's ministry at Shadow Rock. To find your place to plug in, please reach out to Karen via email.

Families with children are invited to gather in the Parlor for a welcoming snack before heading to the Blue Room. For children 3 years and younger, childcare is available. All adults are invited to a discussion of spirituality in the Multipurpose Room with Pastor Ken (this is also available on Zoom). 

Coffee Chat in Fall 2022 

We're excited to announce the return of Coffee Chat! As we gear up to return to our hospitality practices, we'll gather for coffee and fellowship monthly beginning this week,  September 11.

We know you love Coffee Chat... Help make this time together possible and show your love by volunteering to provide, serve, and clean up. It's a great thing to "Keep It Simple, Sweetie!" with some nut-free cookies or fruit. Visit our Sign Up Genius to choose your date. 

Sacred Sites Meeting Coming Soon

It was great this past Sunday to see some action around the Sacred Sites table as worship ended. This team is all about exploring sites with an eye toward spirituality, learning, and fun. Join Pastor Ken and the team on Sunday, September 18 for a potluck lunch right after worship to learn more. Our Whole Lives

for Older Adults (55+): STARTING TODAY

Maybe you know a little about Our Whole Lives for young people. Maybe you've even purchased supplies for the "OWL Tree." Have you considered yourself an Our Whole Lives participant?

You're invited to join participants from around the Southwest Conference for a 6-session virtual program of comprehensive human sexuality on Zoom! And we're starting TODAY! Topics include:

• Sexuality and Aging
• Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity
• Intimacy and Boundaries
• Body Image

Monday Night Zoom Small Group Returns!

As we grow and mature, we make choices: what ideas and expectations from our childhood are worth keeping? What thoughts and concepts do we cast aside?

Our September Small Group will meet on 9-12, 9-19, and 9-26 at 7:00 pm. We'll explore together the idea "What We Know For Sure." All are welcome.
