Rock the Week for January 5
~Your Weekly Dose of Shadow Rock News~
Twelve Drummers Drumming!

That's right, today is the twelfth day of Christmas! We continue to celebrate our faithfulness, our care for one another, and our calling to live in ways that advance our values of justice, inclusion, and spirituality.

Also, the wrap up of Christmastide means that it's Epiphany Sunday this week, January 9. In these weeks between Christmas and Lent, we're exploring in worship how things move from uncertainty to clarity, from anxiety to belovedness. Our time together seeks to respond to the question, "What does a life lived with God look like?" See you in worship!

Coffee Chat Postponed

Friends, our community has been making difficult decisions since spring 2020 to keep our people both safe and connected. In response to local infections of the Omicron variant, we are postponing all Coffee Chat events until further notice.

Also, as a reminder, please observe social distancing and masking when you're on the campus in person. Socializing before and after worship is best done outdoors (or on Zoom). If you have questions about COVID mitigation at Shadow Rock, just click reply to connect with the staff.
Electronics Recycling - Coming Right Up!

Did it sneak up on you? AZStRUT's electronics recycling is back and it's so soon! If you have electronics around the house that are no longer being used, bring them January 7 through 9 to the Kreider Center (the area under the sanctuary near the elevator). Besides being diverted from our landfills, they will be disassembled and repaired for use by local nonprofits and also used to educate young people.

It's a win for everyone!

This Friday, January 7: 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm
This Saturday, January 8: 8:00 am to 2:00 pm
This Sunday, January 9: 8:00 am to 12:30 pm

Here's a reminder about the kinds of equipment that AZStRUT accepts.
