Rock the Week for April 6
~Your Weekly Dose of Shadow Rock News~
Easter Is Nearly Here!

The Shadow Rock community will gather to celebrate the new life of Easter on Sunday, April 17.

Early Service: 8:00 am
Breakfast: 8:45 am to 9:30 am
Egg Hunt: 9:45 am
Worship: 10:15 am

The Shadow Rock Board is inviting you to breakfast! Join us in Smith Hall for a celebratory meal. If you would like to contribute a dish to share, you're welcome to do so. Shadow Rock is a nut-free facility due to allergies among our preschool families. We are also inviting Worker Bunnies to stay after the meal to clean up. For more information about breakfast volunteer opportunities, please email Nanci Campbell.

The Egg Hunt is for children 10 years of age and under... and it's time to get ready! If you would like to contribute small, wrapped, non-chocolate candy or small prizes, please bring them to the Narthex this Sunday. Please spread the word - all are welcome! If you have Egg Hunt questions or want to come help, please email Karen.
SRPS Community Week 2022

It's a great week at Shadow Rock Preschool. During Community Week, our classrooms are transformed to hardware stories, groceries, medical offices, and other interesting places.
2022 Lenten Journey

Lent Reminders
  • If you missed last Sunday's installment of our sermon series on church-related trauma or want to re-visit it, click here.
  • If this theme of trauma is stirring things up for you, you don't need to work through it alone. Spiritual direction (also called spiritual companionship) is a container to explore the movement of the Spirit in a comprehensive way. Learn more about spiritual direction here. For more information about spiritual companionship at Shadow Rock, just reply to this email.
Ktizo Korner

Ktizo sends its heartfelt thanks to the Shadow Rock community for the shopping cart full of necessities delivered by June Miner last Sunday. Thank you, June, and thanks to everyone who is finding ways to help us support and explore a meaningful relationship with the folks at Ktizo.

In addition to offering a hot meal, a movie, and sandwiches-to-go every Wednesday afternoon, the mobile shower trailer visits twice monthly, and haircuts are provided to those without housing. In these photos, haircuts by volunteer Sharleen Kakolewski offer care and dignity.
Rock the Week is published each Wednesday.
