Vol. 3, No. 9, October 4, 2019
Words with Wilson
Yesterday our 6th-8th grade students were blessed to visit the University of Notre Dame for a campus visit. The students traveled by charter bus to the campus. During their visit, they attended Mass at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, visited the Grotto, the administration office (home to the “Golden Dome”), and had lunch in the Student Dining Hall.

They took a tour around the university led by a current Notre Dame student. They visited the Eck Alumni Center and watched a very good documentary about the history of Notre Dame and then shopped in the amazing ND BookStore. To conclude the day, they had a picnic steps away from Notre Dame’s football stadium. The students’ behavior was tremendous and everyone had a great time!

Thank you to all the parents and staff members that attended the trip and helped to make it a memorable day for our students. A special thanks to Mr. Rush for organizing the trip!
