Rocket Report

Vol. 4, No. 18, December 18th
Words with Wilson
We made it! It has been a whirlwind since March, but I am so happy that we have had such a successful 1st semester. Please know how much I appreciate my St. Roch Family. This is such a special place filled with love and kindness. I am blessed to be on this journey with all of you.

I plan on spending a lot of time with my family and doing some relaxing during our break. I hope that all of you are able to do the same.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

In the Know with PTO
Update from 12/15 EC Meeting
The PTO executive committee (EC) meeting met on Tuesday, December 15th. During the meeting, the EC approved and planned this year’s teacher/staff Christmas gifts from the PTO. Each gift included a $25 gift card, a coffee cake from Boyden’s Bakery, and lottery tickets.

Over the last two weeks, the PTO has been assisting Principal Wilson in a program she invented called The St. Roch Days of Holiday Cheer. Each day, for the ten school days leading into Christmas break, Principal Wilson planned a fun holiday treat or activity for her teachers and staff. The PTO helped to fund and execute these daily events, and they have been much appreciated. Some of the things the PTO supported included purchasing some sweet treats (cupcakes, doughnuts, and a hot chocolate bar), and also organizing a Margarita Fiesta after school.

We love our teachers and staff, and we’re glad for the opportunity to show it! When school is back in session, we will continue to plan snacks, luncheons, and other small treats for this amazing group of people. We’ll need your help to re-stock the snack cart, too, so be on the lookout for a signup genius in January.

In other news, several fundraising ideas are being evaluated, and we’re also continuing to finalize how we will direct PTO funds in 2021. Please plan to attend the next General Meeting (date/time to be announced) for more information and the opportunity to weigh in.

And one final note … we want to wish every member of the PTO (that’s you!) a Merry Christmas! Stay healthy, and see you in the new year!

For all others, it will be scheduling your appointment to meet with your student's counselor to create their freshman year schedule. Please contact Director of Admissions Allie Ross at or (317) 787-8277, ext. 243 with any questions.
My Story, R Family Series
My Story, R Family
Another sibling video...we love these! This week's My Story, R Family video comes to us from Abbie and Sofie Carr, current seniors and St. Barnabas parishioners. Getting to attend Roncalli with a sibling is pretty special, and that gets even more elevated when the siblings are twins. They have each brought so much to the Roncalli family, and you can tell through this video the love they have for each other and our school.
