Rocket Report

Vol. 4, No. 30, April 2nd
Words with Wilson
"The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires." - William Arthur Ward

Mrs. Mary Ann Chamberlin has been a member of the Rocket family for many decades. You will be hard-pressed to find a teacher who has given so selflessly for so many years. It is with a sad heart that I announce her retirement. Although I am happy for her and the time she will be able to spend with her family, I am sad for our school at the tremendous void we will feel without her presence. She is one of the first staff members to arrive, and always the last to leave.

As we finish out the school year, I look forward to celebrating Mrs. Chamberlin. We have much to celebrate!
Calendar Change
Each month, on the 1st Tuesday, we have an early dismissal for teacher professional development. We need to switch the May early dismissal to Tuesday, May 11th. It was originally scheduled for May 4th.
Thank you for your flexibility!
Office Communications
office@strochindy.org
Moving forward we would like to streamline all office communications to office@strochindy.org

We currently have a rotating office crew and this will help to alleviate any missed communications within our office staff.

Please utilize this new email for all communications that might include but are not exclusive to the following; report of an absence, late arrival, early pick-up, doctor appointments, medication changes, medical and/or personal needs.

If you are emailing your teacher directly we ask that you also include office@strochindy.org

Calling the office at 317-784-9144 is always an option as well.
