Words with Wilson
"I love teaching because not every student fits into a round hole of learning style and because of that, I love the challenge to help them fit into life with whatever shape they are. It is amazing to me to watch them grow and become their own unique individuals with their own style of learning and maneuvering through their life with whatever unique set of challenges they may have." - Jane Stack
"Teaching became my passion first through observation, then action. My dad has been a teacher my entire life and (like all parents do) believed I was called to be a teacher. Naturally, I disagreed because I could not be the next "Mr. English". This all changed when I stepped into his classroom for the first time. I watched how much of a difference (not just academically) he could make in these children's lives, and I instantly decided this was for me! I love to teach because I love being able to help a child realize their full potential, and each day, I am striving to make my dad proud." -Matt English
"The adventure of interacting with so many different people (students, parents, coworkers) who enrich my life more than they know and the constant flexibility it takes to adjust to everyone's changing needs makes this the most interesting and rewarding job ever!" -Lynn Baumann
"I love to teach the students about God and that he is the center of everything in life. Also, I love to see the excitement and enthusiasm of students when they are learning different subjects. When they learn something new, it makes both us so proud of their hard work and determination. Finally, I love to talk with the students to hear their interests and stories. The students make teaching a joy."- Teresa Plummer
"I love teaching because I love kids! I enjoy being creative to help kids love learning and working through challenges. I feel blessed to be able to watch them grow, not only through the school year, but throughout their time at St. Roch." -Santina Payne

We are down to our final two My Story, R Family videos, and we are thrilled to be featuring Thomas Sherman R'22 in today's video! We have been beyond blessed to have the entire Sherman family as part of the Roncalli family. And, we get to welcome Thomas's brother, Anthony, to RHS next school year as a freshman!
