Rocket Report

Vol. 3, No. 23, January 31, 2020
Words with Wilson
As we wrap up Catholic Schools Week 2020, I want to again thank you for the sacrifice that you make to send your children to St. Roch Catholic School. We are blessed with supportive parents, great kids and a parish that believes in Catholic education. Several students wrote me letters this week to tell me about why they value St. Roch Catholic School, and the opportunity they have been given to attend. Here are some quotes from the letters I received:

“Everyone who goes to St. Roch is open to an amazing education with classes and subjects, but also with life lessons that will live with you forever. “ - Hayden Bauman, 6th Grade

“I really appreciate going to St. Roch. I am so thankful my parents make a sacrifice for me and my siblings to go here.”  - Gracie Rossman, 6th Grade

“Our teachers strive to help us. I love our teachers because they love us and help us to become better people when we grow up.” - Rylen James, 6th Grade

“In every subject we learn everything we need to prepare us for life. We also get to learn about our Savior.” - Annabelle Rose, 5th Grade

“The teachers educate us all day, and and put in extra hours after school and on the weekend.” - Kale Appleby, 5th Grade

We have religion class. It is a big opportunity to learn about Christ. Our faith is very special to us, and that is what Catholic Schools are all about.”- Sydney Deemer, 6th Grade

“The staff at St. Roch is great. As we move through life, we will remember them, and how they helped us become successful people.” -Zane Hamblin, 5th Grade

St. Roch is very challenging. I am always pushed to do better, and I am always helped if I am struggling.” - Joe Paul Egan, 5th Grade
Thank you
The Gallamore family would like to thank the staff, parents, and students who came to the funeral home and the Celebration of Life Liturgy, for our loving mother, Santina. Thank you also for the calls, texts, cards, flowers, mass cards, food, and other tokens of sympathy. Please know that your kind gestures were deeply appreciated.
May God bless you Always!
Re-enrollment is now open for all of our returning families. You should have received an email with instructions on how to complete the re-enrollment process. Everything will be ran through our FACTS system. We have had a few questions that are addressed below in order to help everyone understand this new process. Please address any additional questions to Mrs. Littell via email -
Parent FAQ's
How do I re-enroll my child?
To re-enroll please visit and log in to the family portal as a parent. (Contact Mrs.Littell by email if you are having any issues with this.) Once logged in there should be a menu on the left for enrollment. All eligible students in your family should be listed. If you have a child at home that is eligible for kindergarten or pre-k they should also be listed as an option for registration. You are welcome to register them at this time as they would fall into our returning family category. If you have an eligible student that is not listed and you would like to enroll them please contact Mrs. Littell.

What is the District Code when logging into FACTS?

Has tuition for next year been set?
No, tuition is not yet established for the 2020-2021 school year. A slight increase is expected. Please refer to our current tuition rates in order to estimate your upcoming tuition. Click here to view current tuition.

How much is the Registration Fee and when is it due?
The registration fee is $100 per student and due at the time of registration. However, if you are unable to pay the fee at this time, it is still encouraged to begin the registration process and then return to it once you are able to pay the fee. All registration fees should be paid no later than April 1st, 2020. Your child will not be registered until this fee has been paid.

What is the FACTS Tuition Enrollment Fee?
FACTS charges a fee in order to manage your tuition plan. During re-enrollment you will be asked to select a payment plan for your tuition. Depending on the plan you choose the fee will be in the amount of either $20 or $50 (per family). This fee will not be immediately charged at the time you choose your payment plan. It will only be charged once your tuition is established and posted. If you will be receiving financial aid, an SGO and/or a Voucher that covers the entire cost of your tuition then the fee will be automatically omitted. The fee will only be charged if you have a remaining balance, once all financial aid has been applied, and when your tuition plan goes into effect.

With the completion of renovations to our rectory basement this month, we are excited to begin offering Children’s Liturgy of the Word again to children ages 3 years through 2nd grade during 10:30am Masses starting at the end of January! In order to pick this ministry up once again, we are in need of additional adults to lead the children participating. If you are interested in learning more about how you can volunteer and contribute, please contact Stephanie Newton at or call the parish office. We will have a short informational meeting to talk about this ministry and how to volunteer in the coming weeks. Materials and activities will be supplied!
