Rocket Report

Words with Wilson
Spring Break is here! It seems hard to believe that when we return we will only have a few weeks left in this. school year. Although it has been an incredibly challenging year for teachers, parents, and students- I am so proud of everyone! I hope you have a relaxing break and enjoy spending time with your families. I look forward to coming back and finishing this year strong!

Be safe, and enjoy!

In the Know with PTO
We have decided to carry forward the pot from the February 50/50 raffle to March. Enter before
March 31 by enclosing your money in a labeled envelope (name, phone number, student, grade
/ teacher) to the school office. You can enter as many times as you wish at $5 per chance.

(License #2608) You’ll also have an opportunity to purchase chances during pickup next week!
Did you know that we can raise money for St. Roch (via the PTO)—just by ordering gift cards? Visit or download the Raise Right phone app so you can buy gift cards (think: last-minute birthday gifts)—while at the same time supporting our school!

When placing an order, don’t forget to use the SCRIP Enrollment Code for St Roch: F1E32D6F21337. You can pay using your credit card, bank account, or by check (no cash please). To pay by check, please send it to school (attention: Mary Fields). The deadline for orders this month is March 26.

If you have questions about placing an order, call (800) 727-4715,
email, or contact Santa Augustyniak (our new Scrip coordinator—thanks, Santa!) at Happy shopping!

Did you know that PTO organizes snacks for the teachers and staff on early dismissal days? Well, now you do! We ordered pizza for last week’s early dismissal and are planning an ice cream social for the next early dismissal on Tuesday, April 6.

Many new business items were added to our list this week, including preparing for Teacher Appreciation Week in April; thinking about how to treat students during ILEARN testing; brainstorming ways to show appreciation to our 8 th graders; and discussing how to improve the new family welcome program.

We also kicked off the planning process for the new gymnasium banners. We are currently pricing banners that will match the style used for the wrestling banner currently hanging in the gym. We also started the process of compiling St. Roch championship information over the years—investigating both internal and CYO resources.
Saint Roch Spiritwear Spring Flash Sale!
Out with the old, so we can make room for the new! We're offering bargain basement pricing on items leftover from past sales.

If you're interested in something, please contact Tina Hayes as soon as possible as quantities are limited. Orders will be processed once payment has been received - and orders will be sent home after spring break.

If you need items sooner, please contact Tina! Orders should be emailed to or texted to 317-698-8462.

Thanks for your support of Saint Roch and the Saint Roch PTO.

My Story, R Family
My Story, R Family
Today marks the last My Story, R Family video of the series...what a ride this past year has been! Our final video features Dr. Joe Hollowell, Roncalli's former president, principal, teacher, Summer Field Studies leader and coach...he's worn a lot of hats in these hallways! We are the Roncalli we are today due in large part to how Dr. Hollowell led us as a school and a community. We are forever grateful, and as always...we'll fight ahead!
