Fish Fry
The St. Roch Men's Club will be hosting Fish Frys on March 6th, 13th and 20th . They are in need of help with set-up, running food to tables, clearing tables, dishes, and tearing down at the end of each night. This is a great service hour opportunity for middle school and high school students. They would also happily take any adults who would be willing to volunteer their time.

Please click the link below to sign-up to volunteer. Slots are in 1 hour increments, but please feel free to sign-up for as many slots as you would like.

Thank you in advance for your help, and a big thanks to our Men's Club for the time they are putting into this event. We appreciate all that they do for our school and parish.

Dinner includes main dish, 2 sides, dessert & drink for only $7.
Menu includes: hand-breaded fish, baked fish, shrimp,
grilled cheese, cheese pizza, green beans, cole slaw,
mac n cheese, fries and onion rings.

Please mark your calendars for Saturday, March 21st, as the 8th grade class of St. Roch Catholic School has their annual dinner, play and auction. Doors open for dinner in the gym at 5:30pm, with the live auction beginning at 7:15.

Yoga & Mimosas
YOGA & MIMOSAS, ROUND 2
Saturday, March 14 at the St. Roch Gym
 
If you missed the last one, don’t miss this one! Recover from St. Patty’s Day with a one-hour yoga session in the gym from 8:00-9:00 a.m., followed by optional mimosas and snacks from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Invoke yoga instructor Brooke Lutgring will lead this introductory class, designed for all ages. Bring your yoga mat, water and a small towel.
 
Yoga & Mimosas is sponsored by the St. Roch PTO. The cost is only $5, and any profits will be invested back into the school via ongoing PTO programs. Space is limited. To reserve a spot, simply Venmo the $5 fee to Melissa Stahley (@Melissa-Stahley-1) with your name in the notes. If you need to send payment in to school, please send it c/o Melissa Stahley 2D.
Hearts for Haiti
Hearts for Haiti Ministry is sponsoring a Garage Sale on Saturday, April 18th in the Gym!
All funds that we raise will be sent to Haiti in early summer so that St. Maria Goretti School will be able to purchase school supplies, teaching materials, uniform items and any other necessities to start their school year off!

We need your help to make this a huge success! We are looking for items you would like to donate to our sale! Please start looking around your house for any of these things you might be willing to part with for a good cause!

Categories would include: 
Household : appliances, dishes, electronics, gadgets, etc.
Home Décor : pictures, knick knacks, candles, lamps, plants
Seasonal/Holiday
Linens : bedding, towels, tablecloths, curtains
Books : adults, kids, educational
Baby Stuff
Accessories : purses, belts, jewelry, hats, bath & body
Shoes  
Furniture : tables, chairs, sofas, patio furniture (no mattresses please)

If we ever have a 2 hour delay, early dismissal, or school closing because of inclement weather, we will notify the teachers and parents using the following:
1. Notified via email to all parents and staff.
2. Posted on our "Saint Roch Catholic School" Facebook Group Page
3. Posted on our Twitter page
4. A text Alert
5. Posted via local TV stations: Channel 4, 6, 8, 13, 59 (this is the last places I notify, please look for above methods first)

As always, as the parent YOU are the one that makes the decision on whether to bring your children to school each day because of weather and/or road conditions. If we are in school at a normal time and the roads around your home or area are not safe to travel, please call the school office and notify the school that your children will not be attending school because of inclement weather. Your student will be given an excused absence.

R Family Day
Roncalli would like to invite you to “R Family Day,” a special gathering in celebration of our cultural diversity. The event will be on Saturday, March 7 from 12:00 - 2:00 PM in Roncalli’s cafeteria and gym. This celebration will include education and performances from countries around the world such as Myanmar, Mexico, Nigeria, India, and many others. “R Family Day” is student-driven with the support of local organizations. The event is open to the public and free of cost; however, donations will be gratefully accepted.

Roncalli High School will again offer many different sport camps this summer for elementary age student athletes currently in grades K-8. These camps are conducted by members of the Rebel coaching staff and serve to provide fundamental instruction in each sport as well as a wonderful opportunity to have fun in a friendly and nourishing environment.
