Rocket Report
Vol. 2, No. 26, February 22, 2019
Words with Wilson
We have had an incredibly successful week at St. Roch Catholic School. On Sunday, our Cadet A Boys Basketball team played for a state title. On Wednesday, our technology club met, and 20 students learned how to use soldering irons so that they can begin making their own hand-held gaming systems. Also on Wednesday, 8th grade student Caitlin Pooler, won the regional for the National Scripps Spelling Bee. She now advances to the next round, for a chance to spell in Washington DC at the national competition. Last night our St. Roch PTO sponsored a very successful Designer Purse Bingo night.

Famous Olympic athlete, Jesse Owens, once said “We all have a dream. In order to make dreams come into reality, it takes an awful lot of determination, dedication, self-discipline and effort.” These qualities led to the successes that we had this week at St. Roch Catholic School, and the success we have each day. We continue to stay determined, dedicated, self-disciplined, and hard working.

Have a great weekend! Thank you for all that you do to contribute to the success of St. Roch Catholic School.
