Rocket Report

Vol. 3, No. 2, August 16, 2019
Words with Wilson
This year, St. Roch Catholic School is trying something new. If you have looked at the St. Roch school calendar, you will notice “Meet and Greets.”. Beginning in September, we will be hosting “Meet and Greets” for different grade levels. The idea behind it, is to provide an opportunity for families to get to know each other. Most of our students begin here in Kindergarten, and stay with us through 8th grade. We want to offer our parents the opportunity to be able to build relationships with one another, and we are hoping this is a great way to do it!

The plan is pretty simple. St. Roch will provide the hot dogs, buns and drinks. When the weather permits, we will use the shelter area on our playground. If the weather is not good, we will either use the gym or the school cafeteria. We will send out a sign-up genius asking families to pitch-in and bring an item to share. These are by no means mandatory, but we would love to have all of you join us for these fun nights.

Our first “Meet and Greet” will be on Thursday, September 19th from 6pm to 7:30pm for our Pre-K and Kindergarten families. A sign-up genius will be sent out closer to the event.

Thanks again for a smooth start to the year, and your patience as we continue to implement our FACTS program. Have a great weekend!
