Hi Chamber Friends:
Welcome to the second half of 2021!

It sure has been a wild ride and I’m so thankful you are each a part of it.

Our local economy continues to reboot and thrive. I am excited to see the choice and commitment that our citizens make to support local!

The Chamber is thrilled to have welcomed over 60 new Partners in the first half of the year. There is a great diversity in individuals and organizations. I hope you’ll make plans to join us at an upcoming program or event to connect with other business leaders. We have already hosted our annual meeting honoring excellence in the business community in April. Additionally, we have also hosted our annual ParTee networking event and CaddyShack golf tournament for a great day of building relationships while supporting the Chamber.

We are proud to serve as Rockwall’s Visitor Center and have had the opportunity to work with many new people coming to our area recently. If your business thrives with the onset of visitors, please come see us so we can make sure to have collateral and the tools needed to refer you. We’ve also had the great opportunity to work with conference groups coming to Rockwall. It is always exciting when Rockwall is selected as the host site! We get to share about our community, culture and our great local businesses. This is a burst of revenue directly to our local businesses and tax base.

We’ve been promoting our Love Local gift card as well. Need a great gift? It’s the perfect way to make sure your dollars stay local! Let’s get you signed on to be a participant- it’s complimentary & easy! You’re missing out on dollars that are out there to spend if you are not a part of Love Local

Our friends in Fate have been able to welcome several new businesses in their renovated downtown and are looking forward to many more.

The City of Heath is also thriving with great restaurant options and our first major grocery store.

As we begin to see the expansion of I-30 happen- please continue to make the choice to support local. Support your neighbors and friends who have established great businesses here that keep our community unique! Support our large retailers and organizations who employ our friends and neighbors. They are major contributors to our local tax base as well.

Our neighbors, our friends, our economy - your choice!

“There’s No Place Like Home” - Rockwall County USA- is the Chamber’s theme for 2021. We will continue to celebrate all the great businesses and our unique Rockwall culture with the belief that… there really is no other place like Rockwall County USA! Your choice to join or renew with the Chamber helps us continue to offer a program of work designed to help connect the community and drive our local economy. We are a 4-Star Accredited Chamber being evaluated in 9 categories making sure that we are offering beneficial programs and are operationally sound. Thank you for making that choice to be a part of the largest business association in our area. If you aren’t currently a Partner.. we are ready when you are!

Cheers to the rest of 2021! Keep reading for a full recap of our year so far.

This collection of Professional Development seminars is hosted on our YouTube Channel, is posted across social media and put together as part of our Partner Education Center on our brand new website. Check out a couple of our recent editions of KEYS linked below.
Speaking of our updated website, we've also accomplished that over the last three months.
From a cleaner, less cluttered home page, easier navigation, better recognition of the leaders that help make our organization run and an overall modern look, you will find the same functions as our old website, just a new and improved experience.

Finish this email, then head on over to RockwallChamber.org to check it out.
Our Professional Women's Alliance hosted its annual Taste of the Derby Luncheon. Big hats and big fun were had by all. Make sure you follow PWA on Facebook and join one of their Ladies Lunch Mobs (next one August 11th)
The Rockwall Veterans Business Alliance has been hard at work this quarter as well. Kicking things back off for 2020 with a backpack drive for Lone Star CASA as well as a professional development mixer featuring Jesse Ladd, co-founder of Living Magazine. State of the City Partnership Luncheon
In June, over 170 Partners joined us as we hosted newly elected City of Rockwall Mayor Kevin Fowler who updated us on a wide range of topics, including the upcoming Interstate 30 expansion project and how it will affect our community. View the entire presentation by clicking here.
Off The Clock Networking
We closed out Quarter Two in the best way, by bringing our Partners together for the first Off The Clock Networking in over a year. More than 50 Partners new and old gathered at the Hilton Dallas/Rockwall Lakefront where they made connections and got back to building up the Rockwall business community. Sponsors Ben & Leigh Northcutt, owners of All Care Comfort Solution, shared their experience as Chamber Partners and how they have strategically utilized their Chamber Partnership to grow their business in their first few years of operation. View their testimonial below.
As we continue through Quarter Three and the end of 2021, if you haven't reconnected with us we invite you to do so the next time you are able. We have a full calendar of events of all sizes and topics. Come on out, meet your next business connection and be part of our community.

And if you have been involved so far in 2021 THANK YOU! We hope you'll continue to be a part of our vibrant, diverse business community through 2021 and beyond.

No matter which group you fall under though, the entire Chamber Team is #ThereForYou every step of the way. Please reach out to us if you need anything.
