Nash CC Launches Early Childhood Workforce Ready Academies

Academy Dates & Schedule


Each Academy includes four weeks of training, combining classroom instruction Monday–Thursday and required weekly training on Fridays. All textbooks and course materials are provided at no cost.


1st Academy: January 26 – February 16


2nd Academy: April 20 – May 14


3rd Academy: June 1 – June 25

BoxHause Rocky Mount Boxing & Fitness LLC will be presenting the 2026 HauseNation Red Oak 5k on March 28th, 2026 benefitting Nash UNC Health Foundation Community Paramedic Program.


Our 2026 HauseNation Red Oak 5k will bring fitness to the front door of our community. A percentage of all proceeds will go directly to Nash UNC Health Foundation Community Paramedic Program. The community paramedic program directly impacts members of our community lowering recidivism for recent hospital releases deemed necessary.



This race will include a Kids Fun run and Timed 5k for runners and walkers.
