The Junior Bears is a youth tackle football program featuring two age divisions: Pee Wee (ages 8–10) and Varsity (ages 11–13). The season runs from August through October and includes opening and closing ceremonies, skills clinics, regular league games, and a championship matchup.

Uniforms, transportation, and giveaways are included. Games are typically held on Saturdays, with occasional Tuesday evening games at various locations across the city.

To register your child, contact Park Supervisor Richard Faust at 773-262-5051 or sign up online. Be sure to register within the designated sign-up period and select the correct age division.
