MeHI's Digital Health Sandbox Rolling Grant Program provides funding for digital health companies to work with a research and development (R&D) partner, or Sandbox, to test and validate their solutions. There are currently 10 organizations approved as Sandboxes in the Digital Health Sandbox Network. Applicants must be a digital health company with a presence in Massachusetts.
The MeHI team has reposted the Request for Applications (RFA) and application for the Rolling Grant Program to reflect a few updates for fiscal year 2026 (FY26):
- A total of up to $150,000 is available in FY26 which will cover the fall 2025 and spring 2026 application review periods.
-
Applications received by Tuesday, September 30 will be reviewed in October 2025.
-
Awards will be up to $60,000. Similar to previous years, the funding is provided to the R&D partner to test and validate the digital health company's solution. Funding is not directly provided to the company.
Please email MeHI Director of Digital Health Innovation Katie Green with questions or for more information about the Rolling Grant Program.
