Superintendent's Message
Happy December Romoland! I am grateful to our entire community for a wonderful start to the school year and look forward to continuing our success in 2022. Winter Break begins this Friday, December 17, 2021. As a reminder, all schools will be closed from December 17 to January 7. District offices will be closed from Monday, December 20 through Friday, December 31. Offices will resume normal operations on Monday, January 3, 2022. Classes will resume on Monday, January 10, 2022.

When we return in January, our 4th-8th grade students will be eligible to participate in our annual district competitions and we are excited to see our students shine! Please visit our district website to learn more about the upcoming events.

Finally, with our students back in schools, it has become clear there is an urgent need to address overcrowding in our schools and make sure all schools are prepared to meet today’s safety and security standards. As the Board evaluates the state of our schools, we value your feedback and involvement. Your input is critical and will help shape the future of our schools. We hope you’ll take the time to complete our survey linked here to share your priorities for Romoland School District.

I hope our students, staff, and families enjoy a wonderful Winter Break and we will see you all again in the new year. Warmest thoughts and best wishes to you and your families for a wonderful, healthy holiday season and a very Happy New Year!
