Superintendent's Message

Romoland School Community,

We have reached the time of year when daylight savings comes to an end, the days feel shorter and the mornings are darker. This Sunday, November 6th will be time to turn back our clocks by one hour. It’s also a good time to remind everyone to use extra caution in our school zones, as our students will be less visible to drivers during their morning walks to school. Please follow all posted traffic signs when dropping off your students. We are collaborating with our community partners including local law enforcement to maintain and improve safety in and around our school environment.

Informed Parents are Empowered Parents

Red Ribbon Week

Last week, our students celebrated Red Ribbon Week, but drug and tobacco use prevention continues throughout the year! We encourage families to have open conversations with their students about staying drug and tobacco-free.

Carol Addiss Student Drug Use Prevention Poster Contest

Encourage your students to pick up those crayons, colored pencils, markers, or other medium of their choice and share how they want to CELEBRATE LIFE. and LIVE DRUG FREE.

Science Fair

It's time once again for students to perform their experiments and fascinate us with their findings! School sites will host science fairs in December and the district fair will commence in early January.

All students in grades 4-8 are eligible to participate.

History Day is almost here! This year’s theme, Frontiers in History: People, Places, Ideas, will allow students to research and create final projects as a poster, podcast, website, documentary, historical paper, performance, or exhibit.
