September is National School Attendance Awareness Month. Although the school day looks different this year, our district is dedicated to creating a culture of achievement for every student, every day. While in the virtual learning environment, engagement and participation is key to student success.
Our educators and staff have done an incredible job adapting to the virtual learning environment. Likewise, our families have modeled patience and strong engagement to ensure a smooth start to the year. The foundation we’ve laid the past few weeks will serve us well as we continue to adapt and gradually begin to welcome back students for in-person learning.
We recognize that educating children from home is a responsibility that most families never anticipated. Our team is ready to provide additional support for families. Please do not hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher if you have questions or concerns. I also encourage you to visit our district and school websites to learn about other helpful resources.
Thank you for being a part of our learning community!
Trevor Painton,
Superintendent
