Ronald R. Miller, passed away Friday, December 23, 2016, with his family by his side. He was born on December 29, 1947, to Robert F. and Rose O. Miller in Maple Heights , OH.
Ron graduated from high school in 1965 where he was elected to the National Honor Society. Later, he was proudly elected to the Wadsworth High School Sports Hall of Fame for his achievements in baseball, basketball, and football. Ron was awarded a four-year athletic scholarship to Ashland College where he played baseball and graduated in 1969.
Ron leaves to cherish his memories his sons Ronald (Chrissy) Miller, II of Akron, Ohio; Brian (Angelina) Miller of Myrtle Beach; grandchildren Ronald, Nicholas, Jacob, Logan, and Christian; and his brother Robert (Janet).
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 29, 2016, from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman Street, Wadsworth, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 30, 2016, 11:00 am at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 272 Broad Street, Wadsworth, Ohio, with Fr. Patrick Spicer officiating.
Burial will take place in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
