Due to the number of illness-related absences prior to break and the volume of make-up exams currently being completed, report cards will be sent out on Monday.

Roncalli is beyond thrilled to announce that seniors Eva Aguayo Martinez and Anna Cromer have been selected as 2026 Lilly Endowment Community Scholars for Marion County and Johnson County! Eva received recognition from the Central Indiana Community Foundation, and Anna was selected by the Johnson County Community Foundation.
Scholars are selected based on outstanding academic achievement, leadership, character and dedication to serving their community. As recipients of the prestigious Lilly Scholarship, Eva and Anna will each receive a full-tuition scholarship, plus books and fees, to any college or university in Indiana to which they are accepted. Congratulations, Eva and Anna!

The Lady Royals are Circle City Conference Champions after defeating Brebeuf Jesuit 63-41 and going 3-0 in their Conference. Junior Elliot Leffler led the team in scoring with 16 points and two blocks. Senior Reagan Turk earned the Business Art DeSigns Royal Player of the Game and the Toughness Belt for her strong play on both ends of the court. She finished with 15 points, seven rebounds and three steals. Senior Catie Rosko had nine points and three assists. The Lady Royals are back in action tonight at home in a girls/boys doubleheader against Franklin Central for Cancer Awareness Night!

The Royal wrestlers came home as Marion County Champs for the second straight year and the third county title in school history. The Royals had five individual champions, including senior Blake Getz who became only the seventh wrestler to have four county titles.

Sophomore Abby McNeil (2-1) placed third and also advanced to regionals. Junior Annabelle Rose (3-2) placed 5th. MOCK INTERVIEW SESSIONS
The Guidance Department is hosting mock interview sessions to help students gain confidence and skills for future opportunities—whether a part-time job, full-time job, scholarship or more.
Dates:
Tuesday, January 13: 3:00 PM - 5:15 PM, Student Life Center
Thursday, February 5: 3:00 PM - 5:15 PM, Student Life Center
Students will participate in mock interviews with local professionals and receive personalized feedback to prepare them for real-world interviews.

* Counselors went over the scheduling process with current sophomores on Wednesday, January 7, and current freshmen on Thursday, January 8. A scheduling packet should have come home with your student.
* STUDENT REGISTRATION MUST BE COMPLETED AND PAID BY THEIR SCHEDULING APPOINTMENT TO ENSURE PLACEMENT IN NEXT YEAR'S COURSES. Visit https://roncalli.fsenrollment.com/users/sign_in to complete registration for the 2026-2027 school year. THE COST OF REGISTRATION WENT UP TO $150 on January 1, 2026!
* Please go over the prerequisites and courses with your student. Visit https://www.roncalli.org/academics/scheduling-forms/ to view all schedule-related forms. NOTE: We will not be providing a Master Schedule this year. Course conflicts will be addressed after course requests are complete.
* Your student will sign up for an appointment with their counselor using the link that will be sent on the day of their presentation. Students CANNOT sign up during a core class (English, Science, Math, Social Studies or Theology) or a class in which they have a test or quiz.
* Advanced Placement and 8-Period day forms can be found on the scheduling website. Counselors will remove students from AP courses if the form is not filled out by January 16. Please sign these forms right away to ensure your child’s placement in AP courses.

ROAR is our premier annual fundraiser that supports our annual fund projects, including tuition assistance, student enrichment, teacher development and school improvements.
The night features food, drinks, silent auctions, raffles, live entertainment and much more.
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers for our planning committee.
We are also seeking items for our auctions (vacation rentals, tickets to local sporting events, behind-the-scenes experiences, home improvement services, gift cards, wine, bourbon, spirits, etc.). Your donations are tax-deductible.

Do you want to make sure your student receives a yearbook for the current school year? You can order online now. The discounted price is $65 until February 15, when the price increases to $80. Yearbooks will be passed out to graduating seniors in July and to all other students on the first day of the 2026-27 school year.
Would you like to purchase an ad for your graduating senior? You can click the link for detailed instructions and pricing. Deadline is March 1 or when the ad space fills up, whichever comes first. Dinner will be served at 7:00 PM, and the raffle begins at 8:00 PM. There are so many ways to win - tip boards, ticket draws, 50/50s, pull tabs and cash drawings and raffles totaling $5,000!

Students who are a part of the 21st Century Scholar program and their families are asked to attend one of the check-in meetings scheduled throughout the 2025-2026 school year! Students should select one of the meeting dates/times listed below and connect with the Guidance Team in the Student Life Center (SLC). Families are welcome to attend the meeting with their student if they wish to learn more about the program.

STAND UP TEAM
Each week, our STAND team meets to confidentially review student needs and address any physical, social, emotional or spiritual challenges that may affect learning. The team provides support, guidance and referrals, and also leads programs that promote healthy living and overall well-being in our school community.
