ATTENTION JUNIOR PARENTS

Junior scheduling for the 2025-2026 school year begins December 5th!

Counselors will visit junior theology classes on Tuesday, December 3rd to go over the new scheduling process. You can expect a scheduling packet to come home with your junior. Please review the prerequisites and courses with your student. He/She will sign up for an appointment with their counselor using the link that will be sent on December 3rd to sign up for their senior year courses. Juniors CANNOT sign up during a core class (English, Science, Math, Social Studies or Theology) or a class in which they have a test or quiz.

STUDENT REGISTRATION MUST BE COMPLETED AND PAID BY THEIR SCHEDULING APPOINTMENT TO ENSURE PLACEMENT IN SENIOR YEAR COURSES.

Advanced Placement and 8-period day forms will be sent via email directly to parents to sign on the day of their child’s scheduling appointment. Counselors will remove students from AP courses if the form is not filled out by January 17th. Please sign these forms right away to ensure your child’s placement in AP courses. 8-period day requests will be honored ONLY for students with conflicts in their schedule. Other 8-period day requests will be waitlisted until all students have scheduled their courses.

â–º INFO TO KNOW

TELEHEALTH FOR RONCALLI STUDENTS

Nurses Direct Connect is proud to continue partnering with Roncalli School to provide quality healthcare for students. Over the past three months, many students have benefited from telehealth services, allowing them to receive timely treatment while staying in the school environment and minimizing disruptions to their learning. This partnership helps ensure that students get the care they need without missing valuable educational time.

Here’s How Nurses Direct Connect Works:

For Students at School:

If your child feels unwell and visits the front office, we’re able to conduct a telehealth visit if additional medical attention is needed. You’ll be notified before any care begins, with your permission sought every step of the way. If you’d like to schedule a visit for your child to be seen at school, you can do so—just let the office staff know as well.

At-Home Virtual Visits:

We also offer virtual appointments from home. To schedule an at-home visit, simply go to www.nursesdirectconnect.com.

Quick and Convenient Care Process:

  1. Effortless Scheduling â€“ Roncalli office staff will work with you to arrange the earliest available appointment.
  2. Flexible Care Options â€“ Your child can receive care in the school office or virtually from home.
  3. In-Office Testing â€“ Strep, flu and COVID testing are available directly in the school’s office.
  4. Prescription Convenience â€“ If medication is needed, we’ll send prescriptions directly to your pharmacy of choice, allowing for an easy pick-up after school.
  5. Insurance - We’re also pleased to announce that we now accept TriCare insurance, in addition to Anthem, United, UMR and Medicaid, to further expand access to care.

For more information contact Ashley Mahin, FNP-C Provider, at (317) 500-4572.

RONCALLI NEEDS BUS DRIVERS

The Roncalli High School Transportation Department desperately needs bus drivers to drive our big buses. Drivers need a CDL license to drive these buses. This is a great way to get paid to watch Roncalli's athletics and fine arts events and to help with field trips. If you already have your CDL or are interested in getting yours, please contact transportation director Michael Wantz at mwantz@roncalli.org or 317-787-8277 ext. 284.

SCHOOLMESSENGER SYSTEM OPT-IN

Students, parents and guardians, please read the attached pdf regarding SchoolMessenger. You need to opt-in to make sure you are receiving important messages from Roncalli. Instead of robocalls, messages will be sent via text. Roncalli uses this for emergency alerting purposes, such as two-hour delays, school closures and for notifying you about other critical information.
