This Month at Circle of Friends…
Fall has arrived in the preschool hall, and we couldn’t be more excited for all the fun October brings!
Our Pre-K classes will kick off the month with a field trip to BiZi Farms, and soon after, we’ll welcome families for “A Peek into Preschool”- a special Open House where they’ll get to see what a preschool day looks like, hear their little ones sing a song or two, and create a sweet keepsake craft together.
We’ll also learn about fire safety (October is National Fire Prevention Month) and enjoy our first visit from the Book Fairy, a.k.a. Tifny Mathena!
This month, we’re excited to sponsor a donation box for Austen’s Huggable Heroes! Austen believes every child deserves comfort and connection. She collects new and gently loved stuffed animals to share hugs, hope, and a sense of belonging with children in foster care and shelters throughout Washington, Oregon, and beyond. We'll have a donation box in the preschool hall for the whole month of October, right across from Ms. Laura’s office, where our families can donate stuffed animals.
To wrap up the month, we’ll celebrate with Harvest Parties full of costumes, a trick-or-treat parade, silly games, and lots of yummy treats.
