ALL HANDS ON DECK, LET’S TURN THIS PLACE INTO THE LAND OF JOSEPH!

Join us in room LL1 (lower level of the church) for Vacation Bible School decoration prep! No experience needed! We will have projects and supplies ready to go. Just come ready to cut, paint and have fun! Bring a friend! 😊

• WEDNESDAY EVENINGS: May 20 & 27 from 6pm-8pm (during MS youth group, childcare provided)
• WEDNESDAY MORNINGS: June 3 & 10 from 9am-11am (let us know if you need childcare)
• SATURDAYS: June 6, 13 & 20 from 10am-12pm
• WEEK BEFORE VBS: June 23, 24 & 25 from 9am-11am

FAQ's:

Can I bring my kids to help on the decoration days?

We leave this up to you! If your child is old enough to be around hot glue and sharp scissors and would like to help, then they are welcome. It isn’t a “kid-safe” space just yet (stuff is kind of everywhere and in various states of completion), so please take this into consideration. You know your kiddos best. 😊

Are there take home projects?

Yes! Beginning Sunday, May 24, take home projects will be available in the Resource Room located in the preschool hallway. Simply take one home, complete the task, and return it when you are finished at your earliest convenience!

Is there anything I can donate? And where do I bring it?

OOOOHHHH YES. Please bring any of the following items to the Church Office or leave in the VBS Donation Box in the Gathering Area:

• Batting (Any amounts, any kind…we’ll take it! WE LOVE LEFTOVERS)
• Wire Coat Hangers
• Tin Cans over 20 oz.(washed and label removed)
• Solid Colored Fabric/Muslin (large pieces to drape over pop-up canopy sides)

LIFT Day - NEW Family Opportunity

Starting in the Sanctuary!

Hey families! If you would you like to participate in LIFT DAY, we have an additional option for you! Please join us at the church for prayer at 1pm and then as we break off into groups for service, we have a couple of vehicles that are in need of washing. If this sounds like something you and your kiddos might like to do together, please email Viva to give her a heads up that you’ll be there. Thank you for considering!

Grad Sunday

Sunday, June 7

9:00am and 10:30am services

We would love to honor our graduating High School Seniors and give them an opportunity to participate in leading worship as well. Please have your Senior fill out the following form with their availability and interest in leading AND their graduation photo for the slideshow: Grad Sunday Interest Form

We also need assistance from parents of our current High School Juniors. If you are willing, please connect with Sarah Tunall about picking up the cakes on Saturday, June 6 or helping decorate tables , cut and serve cake, or clean up on Grad Sunday, June 7.

Middle School Bike Hike - A New Direction... WEST!

July 26-August 1

Ocean Park, WA

Due to the possibility of a significant fire season, Bike Hike Leaders and the Youth Team have decided to move Bike Hike to Ocean Park Camp & Retreat Center in Ocean Park, WA! We are excited about being a bit closer, playing in a new location, and worshiping on the beach. Plus biking, hiking and more! Please reach out to Sarah with any questions or if you are interested in serving as a leader for the week. Bike Hike is open to 6th-8th grades. Registration deadline is Monday, June 1. Register here.
