Our Last Week of School… How Could It Be?
We’ve been so busy having fun and getting ready for the end of the year that it seems unreal our Circle of Friends year is actually over.
The year has gone by so fast. I swear it was September just a couple of weeks ago, and then suddenly May flew by.
We wrapped up our final days of science learning all about bubbles and how they are formed. Then came our glorious spring programs, where the children sang their hearts out to sweet songs about Jesus, friendship, and even a little “Blue Suede Shoes.”
Today, we said goodbye to our last group of preschoolers and their families with a joyful last-day celebration and car parade. This week, the children ate popsicles, had a dance party (and even won a trophy!), bounced in bouncy houses, played with bubbles, water tables, and sidewalk chalk, and then waited excitedly while their wonderful families picked them up in wagons, cars, trucks, bicycles, and even a golf cart, all decorated to celebrate the last day of school.
It was seriously magical. I’m not crying… are you crying?
I can honestly say I work with the most amazing women who give everything to their jobs and EVERYTHING to their students. We are so thankful for our families and feel so honored that they share their children with us.
We are thankful for a wonderful year and can’t wait to do it all again in just a few short months.
If you’re searching for a loving, Christian-based preschool, or know someone who is, I’d be so happy to talk with you! Give me a call (360-696-9926) or send me an email. I’d love to show you around our special little school where connection, faith, fun, and learning are at the heart of everything we do.
Thanks for the memories. See you soon!
Ms. Laura Ericcsen
Director, Circle of Friends Preschool
