Children & Youth Ministries Weekly Update

Welcome to 2023-2024 CPC Kids!

Little by little our children’s program is growing, and as it does, we are stretching as well. This year you will find:

Check-In Kiosks at any Children’s Ministry event (Sunday School, K², Children’s Choir, the nursery, ect). To learn all about this new system and why we are using it, click here. We are definitely learning as we go, and your patience while we discover what works and doesn’t work for our families at CPC is appreciated.
We are starting a new Sunday School curriculum focused on biblical understanding and supporting connection of all those in your child’s Sunday School class. Beginning next week, Rooted will include a link to what your child will be studying the following Sunday.
Continual updates are being made to the children’s classrooms and hallway downstairs.
With the help of several more volunteers, we hope to add a second preschool classroom to the 9am service as well as offering Sunday School at the 10:30am service.

Your prayers are appreciated as we attempt to make small changes with big impact on the faith life of our children. We pray that in everything we do, we keep Christ as the focus and His love for our kids and their families as the motivating factor in any decisions we make.

Youth Sunday School

Middle School will still meet for Sunday School this weekend, Sunday, September 24.

This fall, there will be no High School Sunday School outside of the confirmation class, Kairos.

Kairos will run October 8th-December 3 at the 9am service in the Chapel for those High School students wishing to attend. To register for Kairos, click here. Students who have already participated in confirmation are still welcome to attend the class.

Middle School Back to School Retreat

It is not too late to sign up for the Middle School Back to School Retreat! Registration closes Sunday, September 24. Register here.

High School Back to School Retreat

We pray this is a weekend of Christ-centered fun and fellowship for our high schoolers. Reminder that there is NO High School Youth Group this Sunday, September 24.

World Vision at CPC this Sunday

You will have a chance to sign up to sponsor a child in the communities of Lour-Ribot, Senegal. You can do this individually or as a family or as a group of friends! On Sunday we will be taking pictures to send to the children participating in the Sponsorship program, or you can bring in a picture on your phone or one to upload and scan. On Oct 15^th, we’ll have a Sponsored Child Celebration.
