Children & Youth Ministries Weekly Update

Work Camp Auction

JOIN US for the Youth Auction this Sunday!! After second service we will be meeting in the gym at 12 to enjoy lunch and community together while supporting ministry here at CPC. (Check in/Registration opens at 11:15am in the fellowship hall.) This auction supports our summer Work Camp trip to Mexico. We will be partnering with Amor Ministry to help build homes. Along with our trip our youth auction supports local ministries as well with 10% of the funds supporting Mac Middle School and 10% supporting The Giving Closet.

To join us for lunch you MUST register for the Auction first, then you will be able to purchase lunch for the day. Today is that last day to purchase lunch. Silent auction items will be available to view starting today and will be set up in the fellowship hall on Sunday to view before the auction.

We are so thankful for all the support to our youth program here at CPC and we are excited to celebrate together this weekend.

What are your kids learning?

K2 Live

Wednesday, 6:00PM

We are traveling to Japan for our unit learning about Responsibility. Through Responsibility, kids will discover the importance of being responsible. We will explore these questions:

Who counts on me? Will only my best do? Can I ever quit? Does God count on me too? What’s the reward?

We’ll “visit” Japan, where we’ll meet Terry Yummy, a chef wannabe who doesn’t realize the importance of being responsible. In spite of herself, Terry begins to understand that being responsible is an important life skill.

Our Life Verse: Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for people. (Colossians 3:23, NIV)

The Point: You can count on me!

Children's Sunday School

Sunday, 9:00AM

Pre-K

Preschool continued their unit titled "Jesus Died and Rose Again" and their study of butterflies!

Kindergarten-5th Grade

This past Sunday K-5 learned about Jesus welcoming the little children from Matthew 18:1-4. They also got to take a peak at the preschool’s caterpillars. And there’s something going on in there, folks!
