We have returned from Mexico and wow what an incredible week it was. This week was hot, sweaty, dusty, educational, and impactful. Students and leaders worked together to build three new homes for three families in Tijuana. From pouring concrete to building walls, our students learned not only a lot about construction, but also about the communities and families that Amor supports. One of the best things about this week is that this trip is such an intergenerational week for our CPC community. 

Throughout the week our group focused on things we were putting aside for the week to come together and share this experience. We worked through Ecclesiastes 3 as well as Psalm 127 on where God is calling our work for this time. 

Though it was tough work it was an impactful week for our CPC community. Thank you for all your love and support.

Approximately 45 middle school youth, high school interns, and adult leaders will take off for Farragut State Park in Athol, Idaho on July 28 for a week of biking, camping, worship, and fellowship. This past Wednesday, a bunch of them went for a pre-Bike Hike ride to David Douglas Park and then Dairy Queen to practice bike safety and ensure their bikes were ready to head to Idaho - and because it's fun! Please keep all our youth and leaders in your prayers during this formative week.

Going on Bike Hike? Don't forget the Pre-Pack is on Saturday, July 27 at 9:00AM. Then return back to the church at 12:00PM on Sunday, July 28 for drop off. Here is a link to an email with all the information you might need: click here.
