Dear Rosa Coplon Living Center Residents, Family Members and Responsible Parties,
I am pleased to report that we’ve had no new additional cases of COVID-19 this week among staff members or residents. We continue to monitor all residents on a daily basis and are testing staff members once a week.
We are continuing with plans to re-open visitation on September 8, as long as we have zero new positive cases within the 28-day cycle mandated by the Department of Health. We will continue to keep in touch with families and share updates in a timely manner so everyone is well informed.
In the interim, our staff is more than willing to coordinate and conduct Skype visits with your loved ones if that is an option you are interested in. We understand this is not the same experience as an in-person visit, but want to ensure we are offering you an opportunity to connect with your loved ones in alternate ways while we endure this mandatory waiting period.
I cannot tell you how much we appreciate your understanding and patience while we navigate this situation. I am available if you ever have any questions – please don’t hesitate to contact me.
