Dear Rosa Coplon Family Members & Responsible Parties,

The season of warm weather, graduations and Father’s Day is finally upon us. While our traditional activities look a little different this spring, we continue to plan and implement safe ways for each resident to stay active and engaged.

This includes following Department of Health guidelines for outdoor activities. Our activities department now has a plan in place that enables residents to enjoy the outdoors in a safe, supervised manner, and we will hold some of our activities outside. Residents are required to wear masks, remain at least six feet apart from others, and be supervised by a staff member at all times. For their safety and in accordance with regulatory guidance, we ask residents to remain indoors when they are not participating in supervised outside time, and we ask family members to continue to follow no visitor guidelines both indoors and outdoors.

We also continue to plan individualized indoor activities and entertainment.
Our activities schedule is updated weekly and includes safe adaptations of resident favorites, such as Bingo, sing-alongs, trivia and 1:1 social visits with staff. Click here to view activities schedule.
Virtual visits with family members also remain popular. Last week it brought us great joy to help facilitate 50 virtual visits and deliver 12 virtual greetings to residents. To schedule a virtual visit, please contact Julie Smith , 716-639-3311 ext. 2128. Click here to send a virtual greeting.

Plans to commemorate Father’s Day with a special meal for all of our remarkable gentlemen are underway. We will share more details later in June.
We continue to await results of the COVID-19 tests that all Rosa Coplon residents received earlier this week. We will update you when we receive the results. In the meantime, we have no new cases, and no residents with symptoms to report.

The letters of thanks and kind words that many of you have shared with our healthcare team have meant so much to us. Thank you for your incredible patience and ongoing support.
