Visitation Update
In-person Visits Resume, Except for Unit 3AB
Yesterday we shared that we had one positive case of COVID-19 in a staff member, and as a result, the Department of Health (DOH) required us to temporarily suspend in-person visitation. In compliance with DOH regulations, we conducted COVID-19 testing on residents and staff to determine if there was any further spread of the virus.
The test results revealed three additional COVID-19 cases in residents. This means that in-person visitation can resume for residents on all units except Unit 3AB, which will remain under precautions for the next 14 days.
Per DOH policy, we are required to test residents and staff for COVID-19 on Oct. 28 and again on Nov. 4. Pending there are no further positive cases, we will end testing at that time. If at any time your loved one has abnormal findings from COVID 19 testing or is impacted by a positive COVID 19 case; a representative from the facility will contact the listed responsible party on file.
