Dear Rosa Coplon Living Center Residents, Family Members and Responsible Parties,

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we endure this 28-day waiting period mandated by the Department of Health (DOH) before we are able to re-open for visitation. We understand how important it is to be connected with your loved ones. Effective Monday, September 14, we will be offering window visitation.

How Will the Window Visits Work?
We are happy to accommodate residents and their families by providing window visits as an alternative to in-person visits while we continue the DOH mandatory waiting period.

  • All requests for window visits can be coordinated through the Social Work Department. Families and loved ones can reserve a time by contacting Julie Smith at [email protected].
  • The designated area for visitors will be outside of the deli area in front of the large picture windows. This will allow you to have a clear view of your loved one.
  • Communication devices will be available in order to communicate with your loved one.
  • Families are encouraged to bring along colorful signs for their loved one to see during the window visits.

We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity for a window visit. Skype calls are also still available.

As of today, we are on track to reopen restricted visitation on October 5, pending we have zero new cases of COVID-19 throughout this 28-day waiting period. In the meantime, you can expect that we will continue following our infection prevention measures to ensure everyone’s health and safety on campus as we do our part to fight the virus.

Thanks again for your support. If you have questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.
