New England Rose Society Show & Sale on June 18

Come see a large, colorful array of cut roses displayed at the annual New England Rose Society Show. The roses are judged and awarded ribbons and certificates by horticultural judges within the American Rose Society. Learn tips and tricks for easy rose growing and ask consulting rosarians your questions.

Plants and Pints on Select Thursdays

Join us on select Thursday Summer Evenings to have fun with plants! Participants will receive one beer or wine while enjoying a fun plant-focused activity/craft. Each Thursday features a different activity. You will also learn about caring for your plants once you take them home. Sign up for one or all of them.

Thursday Summer Evenings at the Garden

Enjoy small bites, craft brews, and wine from our outdoor Beer Garden as you sit back and listen to live music from local musicians during Thursday Summer Evenings. Hike our mile-long loop trail, explore the gardens, and watch the sunset over the Wachusett Reservoir to end the evening.

For Kids: Insect Safari on June 18

How many species of insects are there? What do insects need to survive? Where do insects live? Learn the answer to these questions and more as we take to the gardens and trails in search of insects, arachnids, and more. Each participant will receive supplies for a simple insect inspired craft to try at home.

Country Night - Concert & Dance on the Lawn on June 29 

Enjoy a high-energy evening of your favorite country songs featuring local country pop/rock group Whitney Doucet and Moonshine Band. Learn basic line dance steps to dance along to the music or just sit and enjoy the concert with a picnic and a pint on the Lawn. Visitors are welcome to bring their own blankets and chairs.

Uprooted Walking & Golf Cart Tours

Experience Uprooted, a nature-inspired exhibit, in a unique way with behind-the-scenes tours. Through September, we will be offering weekly walking tours on Wednesdays and golf cart tours on Fridays. Learn about the history of land art and the sculpture design process. The tours will begin at 11am and last approximately 45 minutes.

Spring Tree Identification Workshop on June 19

Spring is a special time to get to know your local trees.On this walk, you will take a close look at trees' buds, leaves and flowers, as well as the succession of awakening that happens from one species to another. You will also discover year-round characteristics like bark, silhouette and branching patterns, and habitat.
