Parents/Guardians,

Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year! We hope that all of our students, whether in-person or virtual, get off to a great start academically.

After rosters were sent out in August, the first Roster Review Period took place at that time. Any changes that were able to be made were granted, while all others had their materials mailed back to them.

There is a second Roster Review Period that begins today, Sept. 17, and continues through Friday, Sept. 25. Should a student wish to request a change in their schedule, they must follow the process listed in this communication:

Print out the Roster Review Form, found HERE

Complete the Roster Review Form, and return the form, with the $50 fee, in an envelope, with the Student’s Name and ID number on it, to the Office for Student Services. Cash or Check (made out to Archbishop Carroll) is acceptable.

NOTE: The form requires a parent signature. Failure to follow the process as listed will result in the change not being considered.

All Roster Review Forms will be reviewed after the close of the review process on Sept. 25, and any possible changes will take effect on Monday, Sept. 28. If a change cannot be made, the fee will be returned.

For a student to have their roster changed, a number of factors have to be met in a normal school year. This year, the added factor of the Hybrid Schedule also comes into play, likely making many roster changes extremely difficult. Please keep in mind the following: If a student submits a Roster Review Form, they understand that efforts will be made to accommodate their request if at all possible, but may result in other aspects of their schedule being changed (lunch, other classes moving periods, etc.) Once a form is submitted, if a change is made, that change is final and will not be re-adjusted back.

Requests to change a student’s day from “A” to “B” or vice versa will not be considered.

For further information on the Roster Review process, please refer to the information on Pages 7 and 8 of the Course Catalog, which can be found on the school website.

Thank you,
Mr. William D. Gennaro, Jr.
Assistant Principal for Academic Affairs
