French Exchange Students to Visit RHS in October ‘23!

Roswell High School has been participating in a school exchange with the Lycée Claude Gellée since

2018. For the first time since the pandemic, a group of 14 RHS students spent 10 days in October 2022

with host families in France. During their exchange in Epinal, France students attended high school

classes and experienced French family life and culture. We are grateful for the ongoing opportunity to

participate in such an exchange, and we look forward to hosting a group of 17 French students from the

Lycée Claude Gellée at Roswell High School in October. Over the years, our RHS community has shown

amazing hospitality in hosting these students in their homes in 2018 and 2019. We hope that you will

join us this year in being a part of an amazing program that brings students from different cultures

together!

Hosting a student involves inviting the student into your home from October 16-25. French students will

attend school with your student. They will go on field trips two times during the week with their group.

You do not need to provide transportation for their field trips. We also plan to have some after-school

activities here at school for students.

Your family does not need to have a student currently enrolled in French to participate. If you would

enjoy hosting an exchange student (mostly girls ages 15-16), please contact Mme Bell

(bellba@fultonschools.org) or Mme Gorman (gormank@fultonschools.org). We’ll be happy to provide

you with more details.

PTSA Nominating Committee

It's that time of year again when we look for leadership for the 2023-2024 PTSA board! Do you love chatting with people about all the great things RHS PTSA does for our school? If so, please consider serving on our nominating committee! It is a short one month commitment but serves such a vital role in our voting process.

Maybe you have a hidden, or not so hidden, talent you would like to share. We invite you to look at our committee positions for the upcoming year and let us know if you would like to have an active role in activities at RHS. Existing committees are listed on our website, roswellhighschoolptsa.com, under the PTSA About Us tab. Have an area that you think needs to be covered but is not yet addressed? We would love to hear about that as well!

If you are interested in helping out, either on the nominating committee or as an active board member, please email your interests to Nicole Howell and Laura Legg at president@rhsptsa.org. We will share input with the board to make sure we continue to support our fabulous school!
