Our Online Hornet Spirit Wear is OPEN!
Parents now have the option to make purchases online at www.roswellhighptsa.com/s/shop and have their students pick up in the school store. Students should pick up online purchases from the school store, located just inside the cafeteria, during their lunch period on Thursdays or Fridays.
Avoid these pitfalls in order to get along better with your teen! This article has some great insight on how to help your kids become more resilient and independent.
Fulton County Schools participates in a wonderful opportunity for community members to support our families in need of support. By downloading the app PURPOSITY, you can see the needs that are entered by our FCS School Social Workers and help support families right here in our community.
The needs range from $10-$100 and are conveniently and securely connected to your Amazon accounts. With just a push of a button, you can grant the wish of a child or family right here in Roswell. All donated items are shipped to the school and the school social worker delivers them directly to the family. Most needs are met within a few days of being submitted and typically, you receive a thank you notice letting YOU know that the items have been received! 😊
In this time of Thanksgiving, share the love with your family, friends and neighbors to let them know what Purposity is all about. Be sure to follow @Purposity on Facebook and Instagram.
Volunteer Information
Note: You must be registered with the Fulton County School District before volunteering at Roswell High School.
If needed, visit https://www.fultonschools.org/volunteer to complete your registration. Volunteers who completed the application process during last year (2020-2021) will remain active until June 1, 2022. Upon approval of the online application process, new volunteers must have their driver’s license scanned at the front office on their first visit to the school. Approved Volunteers will remain active for 2 school years.
Copy Room Volunteers Needed
The Copy Room Committee has Tuesday/Thursday shifts making copies and finishing packets for our teachers. Flexible shifts allow you to choose a time during the school day that works best for you. Email Betsy Trively at [email protected] to sign up or for more information. Our teachers LOVE the additional support our volunteers give them!
Media Center Volunteers
Have you met the new Media Specialist, Sara Allegood and Media Parapro, Beverly Michaud? They are hard at work on some great new ideas and would love to have more volunteers. The Media Center is a popular spot for students during all lunch periods (11:30-1:30) and these ladies could really use some help so they can get a proper lunch break. If this time doesn’t work for you, please sign up for another time that does. Any time you can give is much appreciated!
Parents, did you know that colleges from across the country are coming right here to Roswell High School to meet with our Junior and Senior students? Ask them how they can sign up!
The PTSA is in need of volunteers to assist in this wonderful program by sitting in during presentations. Side benefit: You too can learn about the new world of choosing the right college for your child! Contact Rebecca Meyer [email protected] to join our College Visit volunteer list.

Become a Business Partner; It’s a Win-Win! Local Businesses, Families and Alumni Help Dreams Come True for RHS Seniors
Our Scholarship Team will work with you and your company to find the best fit for your partnership: choose to fund the general scholarship pool or we will work with you to custom-create a scholarship that matches your personal and professional interests.
There is a scholarship for everyone:
We have created scholarships to suit the needs of our diversely talented students.
With the help of our Scholarship Business Partners, we can offer more scholarships to reach more students. In May 2021, we awarded scholarships to students for excellence in academics, excellence in technology, performing arts, visual and literary arts, vocation studies, CTAE (Career Tech Education) pathway completion, good character, positive contributions to school and community, work ethic, success despite adversity, service to others and entrepreneurship. The last two: The Entrepreneurial Spirit Scholarship and The Service to Others Scholarship are perfect examples of a custom-created scholarship. The Entrepreneurial Spirit Scholarship includes a monetary award and mentoring sessions with Business Partners Tom (’91) and Joanne Curtin of Curtin Team Cares, Keller Williams Realty. The Service to Others scholarship was created by Ed and Silvina Klaas, owners of Southern Sprinkler System LLC and who are personally and professionally committed to serving others to make the world a better place.
We are looking for a company or individual interested in supporting specific subject areas: such as all literary arts (currently combined with visual arts) or environmental stewardship. There is also an opportunity for several companies to be part of a TOOLS OF THE TRADE sponsorship. This sponsorship would be a collection of items for students to use in their specific vocation: construction and engineering tools for those pursuing that trade, art kits for art students, cosmetology kits for cosmetology students, and graphic design materials for graphic design students, etc.
Do you have an idea for a scholarship? Then, we will make it happen for you!
Are you ready for a Win-Win with RHS Seniors and the RHS PTSA Scholarship Team?
