Rev. Preston E. Thompson, Jr. is the senior pastor of the Ebenezer Baptist Church of Englewood. A firm believer of the importance of serving the Church and the community, Rev. Thompson currently serves as a member of the NAACP, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and is currently organizing a presence of Faith in NJ in Bergen County.

Service Spotlight
The  Rotary Club of Englewood provided an emergency grant to the Center for Food Action (CFA). According to Kelly Sirimoglu, Communications Director for the CFA, this emergency grant enabled CFA to respond to the dramatically increasing need for food assistance in Englewood. CFA's pandemic response in Englewood has helped 12,500 people, more than a third of them children.

Member Meet Up
Norman Davis has lived in Englewood with his wife Ann since 1964. He joined the Rotary in 1987 after retiring from his job as a portfolio manager in New York. He has served as President of the City Council, member of the Board of Education and leader of many civic organizations including Flat Rock Brook Nature Association and the Englewood Historical Society. In Rotary he has served as Treasurer and as Secretary. His lifelong interest has been history and he has written extensively about Englewood history. His hobby is crosswords.
