March 10: State of the City Address

Greetings fellow Rotarians.
This week's meeting will be a bit different.
Please join us at 11:45 for our virtual lunch tables. A bit before noon we'll come back together to listen to Mayor Chuck Bennett's State of the City address. The address lasts 1 hour.

March 12 Club Huddle: A Look From the Inside Out!
The timber lattice roof will be finished this week and it is our turn to take a look from "under the dome". Western Wood Structures has made the site available during their lunch hour this upcoming Friday from noon to one. If you can make it, this is a special opportunity to see their work up close and personal, before Structurflex starts preparing for the covering next week. Without question, exciting times for our club! You may enter the job site from the north via a gate just off the parking lot. Please respect our contractors and limit our visit within the boundaries they have marked and the timeframe offered. See you there!
No attendance will be taken this week due to the State of the City. If you attend, please enter it as a make up.
2021-2022 GoodWorks Small Grant Window is now open! Do you know of a deserving organization looking for grant funding? Our club is once again opening its small grant window, offering several $500 - $1,500 grants to deserving non-profit organizations in our community.
They need to act fast! The deadline to apply is April 12th, 2021. Eligible projects for consideration are those that directly or indirectly foster, develop, promote, and encourage the health, education, and the general welfare of primarily youth in Salem and the surrounding area. Interested applicants should submit proposals for a project focused on service projects performed by Salem area non-profit organizations. Click here for details and to apply.
