On Saturday, residents of Tucker, Smoke Rise and the adjacent communities turned out by the car- and truckload to donate used electronics. Rotarians and FODAC staff manned the event, taking in thousands of pounds of both working and non-working electronics of all kinds. FODAC will take the electronics, recycling the non-working equipment and refurbishing working equipment to see in its thrift store. Many of those donating equipment also donated cash to support FODAC's mission. The drive also took in used home medical equipment which will be refurbished and redistributed to FODAC clients.
