Lakes Region members included: Marceau Homes for Best Kitchen and Best Single Family Construction; Meridian Construction wins "Home of The Year! And the Huot Tech Center is recognized for their "Small House Design" and 7th house built by areas students from seven surrounding area high schools.
New Hampshire Home Builders Association recognized Bob Glassett as the "Associate of the Year" at last month's NH Cornerstone Awards. Bob has been an active member of NHHBA since 1995 working for Pella Windows. He has had many rolls with LRBRA including; Treasurer, Golf Committee, Finance Committee, first Parade of Homes committee member when it first started at the state level and Workforce Committee. His role with the Huot Tech and nurturing the Workforce Initiative with the students as well as navigating the production of the build, overseeing the payments throughout the year and eventually helping to find the perfect buyers. He has also been a Lakes Region Children's Auction volunteer & board member for almost 20 year! He has consistently demonstrated outstanding performance and achieved exemplary results! Our January meeting was a huge success! We had a fantastic turnout with a room full of builders, associates and students coming together to share ideas and learn from one another. After a delicious meal prepared by the Culinary students, everyone was invited to tour the building shop and get a glimpse of this years, "Student Built" house.
