Construction Update
U.S. Route 7, Charlotte-South Burlington

DATE: Thursday, 9/14/23

One-way alternating traffic and lane closures will be in effect during nighttime operations 9/17-9/21/23. Delays may occur.

Nighttime operations are typically Sunday night through Thursday night, 7:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.

This Week:

Crews resumed placement of durable pavement markings in South Burlington and Shelburne. This consisted of the green bike lane, cross-walks, stop bars, and various letters and symbols. Removal of temporary line striping targets (LSTs) continued.

Rainy weather hampered efforts for two nights, but good progress was made regardless.

Next Week:

Work will continue on durable pavement marking efforts along Shelburne Road between South Burlington and Shelburne. Crews will also finish up the paving of any remaining driveway aprons as weather permits.
