The Friends Board would like to extend our appreciation to our generous community members who have helped fund our library’s programming this past month. These donations and our volunteers’ involvement make it possible for our library to continue its community outreach. If you are interested in making a tax-deductible donation to the Friends, a §501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, you can do so by clicking here. Donors are recognized with a leaf on the tree mural in the library lobby.
Our Spring Book Sale is just around the corner, and we are currently accepting donations of gently used books. If you cannot attend our donation dates, please email the Friends to arrange a special drop-off or pick-up. We also need volunteers to help make the book sale a success! Please visit our sign-up page to secure your spot as a volunteer today!
Donation Day: Saturday, 4/18 from 9:00am–12:00pm
Preview Night: Friday, 5/1, from 5:30–7:00pm (for Friends’ donors)
General Public Sale: Saturday, 5/2, from 9:00am–2:00pm
We would love to see more visitors at our next meeting on Wednesday, 4/1, at 7pm in the library.
As a reminder, we are holding our annual board elections at our June meeting, Wednesday, 6/3 at 7:00pm. We are seeking community members who may be interested in serving in leadership roles such as President, Vice President, Membership Coordinator, Secretary, and Treasurer. If you’ve been thinking about getting more involved, this is a great opportunity to support the library in a meaningful way.
