In our Display Case:
In January our display case will feature antique and vintage sewing boxes, spool holders, and sewing tools such as were commonly found in 19th century New England households.

Would you like to share your art or collectibles with others?

We have been proud to show off so many local artists and collectors in the past! If you would be interested in displaying your work, hobby, or interest in the future, either on our walls or in our display case, please contact us.

As we begin 2026, we want to thank our community for the continued support that makes library programming possible for all. This programming includes things like the reading clubs, workshops, educational series, children's programs, and other community building activities that are offered throughout the year.

A great way to start the year is by supporting the Friends through a tax-deductible donation! Donors are recognized with a leaf on the beautiful tree mural in the library lobby. Each leaf represents a commitment to literacy, learning, and community. Donate at any level and help us continue to grow our tree! Click here to donate.

Have you ever thought about getting more involved? The Friends Board is always happy to welcome new volunteers who are interested in supporting the library through fundraising, outreach, and events. Our next meeting is February 4, 2026 at 7pm, and all are welcome. We are also seeking like-minded community members who are interested in joining the Friends' board for the 2026 - 2027 term. If you’d like to learn more, please reach out to us at friendsboard@rowleylibrary.org.

Wishing you a joyous and peaceful New Year from the Friends of The Rowley Public Library! -- Andrea, Steve, Natali and Siegi

Not sure what to read? Let us help!
If you're a teen between the ages of 13 and 18 and you have trouble figuring out what to read next, the Youth Services Department has a solution for you!

The YA LitCrate is a mystery box filled with books and goodies for you to enjoy! All you have to do is fill out a form to let us know what you enjoy reading, and we'll give you a call when it's ready to pick up.

The books and box must be returned, but the gifts inside are yours to keep!
