VOTE NOW: We Need Your Help to Honor Our History - Voting ends Oct 15
Vote Now!
The Grey Building Bell Tower Bell needs a new home and we want the community's help to select its new place as a ground display! Since 1903, the bell was housed in the cupola atop the Grey Building on North Hillside Avenue. The crumbling cupola is being replaced, but it was determined that re-installing the bell would be too costly. However, it's a part of our history, so we want a special place of recognition and would like the community to have a voice in that decision.

Vote now to determine whether the bell will remain on-site in front of the first High School (now the Board of Education Administrative Offices) or be moved to the current Roxbury High School on the football field. Click here to cast your vote now! More than 450 votes have been cast so far! Which location will it be?

Click on the picture from the Roxbury Register for more details.
The $1.5 million upgrade to Horseshoe Lake Park - including a new artificial turf field - is a testament to the township's commitment to its children, said Roxbury Mayor Bob DeFillippo today at a dedication ceremony.
Speaking as he stood on the new turf field, while young athletes watched from the sideline, DeFillippo said the long-sought project in Succasunna "represents a significant enhancement of Roxbury's beautiful recreational facilities."

The project includes not only the turf field but also a new scoreboard, new fencing, new lighting, improvements (including irrigation) to two grass fields, relocation of bleachers and expanded parking. It is funded not through tax dollars but with a recreation trust account composed of Horseshoe Lake Park user fees. Click here to read more about this dedication from Tap Into Roxbury.

RWJ Children's Specialized Hospital is offering 30-minute screenings for all children ages 1-5 in both English and Spanish at the Morris County Educare on October 24th. They will also receive a letter to give to their pediatrician with any recommendations for further evaluations. Each family will also take home a packet of age appropriate games to play with their child to encourage development, a booklet containing what to expect as their child gets older and specific information relative to their child.
