Portrait of a Graduate #AtTheRox - Next Session: Feb 13
Here in Roxbury, we are all connected by a shared aspiration: that all of our children have an educational experience preparing them to be effective lifelong learners and contributors. More than ever, our children's educational experience must not only provide for the acquisition of rigorous academic content, but it must also be more intentional about fostering critical thinking, communication, collaboration, creativity, and other 21st century skills our young people need to thrive in this complex, rapidly changing world.

Roxbury's Portrait of a Graduate is a community led process that allows all stakeholders (parents, community stakeholders, educators, and most importantly, students) help provide strategic direction and guidance towards a redesign of the overall educational experience for students. It is our hope that this collective vision reinvigorates and re-engages students, educators, and community stakeholders. Providing feedback for Portrait of a Graduate is important for parents of all learners since this is a K-12 visioning process.

Please take a few minutes to share your thoughts to help us in this visioning process and please know you are all welcome to our public Portrait of a Graduate meeting this February 13 at 7 p.m. in Lincoln Roosevelt Auditorium at 34 North Hillside Avenue, Succasunna, NJ 07876. Click here to provide your feedback in a short survey.

RHS mini-THON Donor Drive Now Open - Mar 15
Mini-THON is both an event and a club at RHS. Modeled off Penn State's THON, the event is an overnight fundraiser for pediatric cancer, which takes place on Friday, March 15th from 7pm to 7am. Leading up to the event, hundreds of students fundraise to participate in a night of no sitting and no sleeping, as everyone literally stands for the cause.  All proceeds from the event go to the non-profit organization, Four Diamonds, which supports cancer research and covers medical bills for families.

mini-THON is also a club, where multiple committees come together to plan and organize the event during the year leading up. This includes food, entertainment, games, logistics, and many more. Last year our club raised $78,578.80, with 500 students participating, which has brought our grand total to $170,000 across our first 5 years.

Disney's Aladdin - Experience a whole new world in a whole new way! The beloved story is brought to thrilling theatrical life in this bold musical. With just one rub of a magic lamp, Aladdin's journey sweeps you into an exotic world full of daring adventure, classic comedy, and timeless romance.
