The Educators of the Year this year covered the scope of education, from general education to special education.
Each building administrator introduced and praised their school's educator of the year sharing antidotes from their personal experience, from a student or staff member, or from a parent of a child in the school.
The Board also recognized 23 professional and support staff members who have retired throughout the 2017/2018 school year. Collectively, they contributed 525 years to the education and support of the students in Roxbury and 634 years in education overall.
