Student Leaders Initiate Composting Program
Fourth and fifth grade student council members are on a mission to eliminate 90% of the trash generated during lunch.

They spent their week introducing a new composting and recycling program to all students and staff at WMES. With the help of their advisers, Ms. Renken and Ms. Singsank and the WMHS Student News crew, council members created a video to demonstrate the process.

Thank you to all who participated for sharing your talents to make our school and our world a better place!

Mystery Pic Reveal
Last month we asked you which Royal staff member was recently inducted into their high school Hall of Fame for athletic accomplishments especially in baseball.
This was our first ever stumper. No one emailed the correct answer! Our WM Technology Director, Mr. Dan Sieling was a three-sport athlete in high school and played baseball at the University of Minnesota.

The yellowjacket is Perham's mascot, so all Hall of Fame inductees receive a bright yellow jacket and some awesome local media coverage .
This Month's Mystery Pic
