Middle School Overnight trip builds teamwork, strengthens relationships
At the end of the week, our Middle School students and staff will travel to the
Loyola University Retreat & Ecology Campus (LUREC) in Woodstock. The group leaves school Thursday morning and returns Friday afternoon.
The vision for this year's Middle School overnight embraces Community, one of Roycemore's five core values. Griffins will volunteer in the campus' working gardens, do some low ropes team building, and reflect about what it means to be a defining member of our Roycemore community, Chicago and beyond. Because we want students to interact with each other and not with their tech, cell phones, tablets, etc. don't get to come!
The Middle School Overnight is an annual tradition that offers a variety of outdoor team-building experiences early in the school year to help students (and faculty) get to know each other better.
