A YEAR FOR THE BOOKS
The 2017-18 school year brought more than 300 new students to our Bulldog Family. We are at 5,800 students and growing rapidly. More than 750 staff members serve, protect and invest in students daily. Thank you for choosing to be a part of the Royse City ISD Family. Take a look at this Rewind Video for some highlights from the year.
CLASS OF 2018 GRADUATION
More than 340 Royse City High School seniors were celebrated and honored at the Class of 2018 Graduation Ceremony on May 29, 2018. These moments captured the love, support and hard work of the students and the many adults around them the last 13 years as part of their educational journey.
BACK TO SCHOOL HEADQUARTERS

Our Back to School Headquarters is up and running for 2018-19. As the new year approaches we will publish school supply lists, back to school forms and much more to get you ready.

NEW STUDENT enrollment will open online starting July 9 at www.rcisd.org.

RETURNING FAMILIES will be able to complete Back to School Forms online for all existing students and add any new students beginning July 30 in Family Access. This process replaces paper packets of the past and allows you to review the handbook and update the normal year-to-year documents. If you do not know your Family Access username and password, you can email [email protected].
2018 BOND PASSED

The Royse City ISD bond proposal was overwhelmingly approved by voters with 79.20% in favor of the $60 million plan to address rapid student enrollment growth. The district’s tax rate will not go up as a result of this approval, rather, the projects will be funded by growth in property values in the district boundaries.

The 2018 Bond Package includes:

  • A new 1,000 student middle school in Fate for grades 6-8 (Opening August 2020)
  • Upgrades and renovations to Royse City Middle School
  • A band hall expansion for fine arts at Royse City High School
  • Upgrades and renovations to Ruth Cherry Middle School, Anita Scott Elementary and Davis Elementary

A schedule will be developed for each project that will least impact campuses during the school year.
