2018 BOND PASSED
The Royse City ISD bond proposal was overwhelmingly approved by voters with 79.20% in favor of the $60 million plan to address rapid student enrollment growth. The district’s tax rate will not go up as a result of this approval, rather, the projects will be funded by growth in property values in the district boundaries.
The 2018 Bond Package includes:
- A new 1,000 student middle school in Fate for grades 6-8 (Opening August 2020)
- Upgrades and renovations to Royse City Middle School
- A band hall expansion for fine arts at Royse City High School
- Upgrades and renovations to Ruth Cherry Middle School, Anita Scott Elementary and Davis Elementary
A schedule will be developed for each project that will least impact campuses during the school year.
