Oh my goodness, what a great morning Sunday morning was! We hope that you enjoyed yourself as much as we did . . . thanks for putting in all the training miles and thanks, too, for all the finish line smiles . . . as a small way to demonstrate our thanks, way below please find coupon codes to our next three events!

2) If you won an age-group or overall award, please visit The Running Shop (3055 North Campbell Avenue) by the end of November to pick up your gift certificate. Click here for a reminder of the posted award rules.

3) If you have not yet picked up your souvenir shirt and medallion, please stop by The Running Shop to pick up your goodies. At this writing, there are small, medium, XL, and V-Neck XXL available.

We've also put together a post-event survey, so feel free to follow this link to offer insights on what we should keep, add, or change for next year. (For example, last year folks asked us to add portojohns, so we added more this year.)

On November 23rd we're back in Downtown Tucson with our partners at El Tour for the El Tour de Tucson 5k Run/Walk. See below for the "thank you" coupon code that expires at the end of October.

On Thanksgiving Day our friends at The Running Shop and SAR are producing the popular Thanksgiving Cross Country Classic, a 5k and 1.5 mile Run/Walk at Reid Park..

TMC A-Mountain Half-Marathon: Joseph Moreno took first place in 1:11:43 -- almost one minute faster than his winning time last year! Nicely done, Joseph!

Second place went to master's runner Jose Delgado in 1:14:16, an excellent recovery race after his stellar Berlin Marathon earlier this month. Third overall saw Denly Linderman cross the line in 1:14:35.

Jori Galles won the women's race for the second year in a row. Running for the "Workout Group Northwest" Jori cruised to the line in a chip time of 1:21:13, more than two minutes faster than her victory last year.

Hilary Hesket continued her strong showing in recent races with a second place finish in 1:22:45. The Workout Group's Marikate Murphy snagged third in a fine run of 1:29:39.

We at Run Tucson are committed to honoring the spirit of racing, and we're grateful to TMC for helping us provide prize money and to The Running Shop for providing close to $1,000 in age-group gift cards.

3.86 Miler Results: Jarret Chinn took first place in the men's race in 22:38, with Rachael Peterson running for Team WOG Northwest crossing the line in 26:56 to take first in the women's race.

Team Hoyt Duo Results: Congratulations to the Team Hoyt Half-Marathon teams of Luke Senner, Rafael Person-Rennel, and Josh Greiner. Congratulations to the Team Hoy Duo teams in the 4-Miler: Lucas King, Erica Aguirre, Hannah Loughry, and Katie Smith.

SAR FITKIDZ and COX Family Mile: The first SAR FitKidz across the line was 11-year-old Caleb Lefforge, who was steps ahead of Isabelle Lefforge, his 13-year-old sister, who took first place in the COX Family Mile.

A note on timing: Thanks to Greg Wenneborg at Roadrunner Race Timing -- Greg also posts videos of every finish, so follow the link to watch your finish video. You're welcome to screenshot the image as you wish! He said that there was a glitch on the camera, so only the first 50 minutes or so is available . . .

The cash awards were based on so-called "gun-time," when the starter's pistol was fired and the race began. Age-group awards were based on so-called "chip-time," which is the elapsed time from when the athlete crosses the starting line to when they crossed the finish line.
